Smart Check with Leo  reviews students’ uploaded compliance documents and generate a summary showing whether the document meets the requirements. If issues are found, it identifies what is missing and provides guidance on the next steps.

Enable Smart Check with Leo

only School or Program Administrators with Super Administrator Access can enable this feature.  To enable Smart Check with Leo follow these steps. 

1. Login to Exxat Prism using your university credentials. 

2. From the Exxat Prism dashboard or the hamburger menu, go to  Program Details. 

3. In the Setup tab from the left menu, select AI Feature Hub.

4. Under Compliance, turn on the toggle to enable Smart Check with Leo for students.

Note:

• Smart Check with Leo is available only for programs using Approve and for students in cohorts using the Approve service.

• When enabled, Smart Check with Leo allows students to generate an AI summary of their compliance documents.

• Students can use this feature only after they consent to the use of AI.

What do students see when this feature is enabled?

When students go to My Compliance, view their compliance requirements, and select the Add "+" icon to upload a document, they will see an AI consent option in the upper-right corner.

If a student selects Accept and continue, they can upload their document. After the document is uploaded, the Generate AI summary option becomes available.

When the student selects Generate AI summary, a pop-up appears indicating that the AI summary is being generated.

While the summary is being generated, the status displays AI Summary Generation - In Progress.

The status indicates AI Summary Generation - In Progress.

Once the AI summary is ready, the status changes to AI Summary Generated, and the generated summary becomes available for review.

When the student selects the edit icon, they can review the generated AI summary. The summary indicates one of the following results:

• Passed — The uploaded document meets the requirements.

• Issues found — The uploaded document does not meet one or more requirements.

If the result is Issues found, the summary explains the identified issues, what is missing from the document based on the Guidelines for Students, and the next steps the student can take to meet the requirement.

The student can then upload a new document and generate another AI summary. If the new document meets the guidelines, the AI summary displays Passed, and no further action is needed.
